Where is the hotel located?

We are in the heart of Westport. Our address is The Wyatt Hotel, The Octagon, Westport, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Eircode: F28 TD75

We are just a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from the train station.

Is parking available at the hotel?

Guests have a choice of up to three places to park while staying with us. We recommend that guests check availability of spaces at our reception desk on arrival. Our reception team will provide you with a hanger to display on your vehicle to show you are a guest of the hotel and that you have permission to park in our designated spaces.

GREEN ROUTE - Underground and Church Lane Car Parks

Follow the green route on the map

Depart The Octagon with Cobbler’s Bar on your right (driver’s side)

Turn right on to the main road onto a slight incline

Travel along the main road for 20 metres

Turn sharp right down the steep hill onto Church Lane

McCarthy’s Bar will be on your left as you go down the hill

a) Entrance to the underground car park is on your right

b) Entrance to the Church Lane car park is on your left

Place your flyer on the dash of your car so the team know you are staying at the hotel

 

RED ROUTE - SuperValu Car Park

Follow the red route on the map

Depart The Octagon with Cobbler’s Bar on your right (driver’s side)

Turn right into the main road onto a slight incline

Travel along the main road for 20 metres

You will see a large tree on the left-hand side of the road

Directly after the tree turn left into the SuperValu car park

Choose your spot

Place your flyer on the dash of your car so the team know you are staying at the hotel

Parking is always at the owner’s risk.

 

Public Parking

Westport has a pay & display system for public parking. The first hour is free and thereafter a pay & display ticket needs to be visible on your dashboard if using public parking areas. Parking meters are available outside the hotel and on all streets.

 

Can I charge my electric car?

Yes. We have an EV charger, GOCharge, in our underground parking. We recommend guests download the GoCharge app for further details, please see details here GoCharge

What time is check in / check out?

Check in time is after 4pm on the day of arrival and check out time is 11am on the day of departure. This time may be extended by prior arrangement by contacting reception. 

Does the hotel allow dogs?

We are delighted to offer a limited number of dog friendly bedrooms in an isolated area of the property. All dog friendly rooms must be booked directly on 09825027 or contact Reservations

 

Note that dogs are not allowed in the public areas of the hotel and cannot use the main entrance. Dogs should only use the remote room access available. Dog friendly bedrooms are subject to a nightly supplement in addition to our standard bedroom rate. For more information check Dog Friendly Rooms

Do you offer luggage storage options?

Luggage store is available at Reception.

Do you have a leisure centre?

The 4* Westport Leisure Park is located just 50 metres from the hotel on James St. Guests just need to present their key cards to avail of complimentary use of the facility. Westport Leisure Park hosts a 25m pool, kiddie’s pool, steam room, sauna and treatment rooms. The facility also host fitness classes which are payable directly. Opening times are available at our reception desk or by visiting www.westportleisure.com

Do you offer laundry service?

Laundry service is available and prices start from €14.60. We advise our guests to drop their laundry to reception before 10am for a guaranteed return that evening between 6-7pm. Laundry bags are available in each guest bedroom. Guests must note their room number on each bag to ensure reception team can bill accordingly. 

 

 

 

 

What options are available for breakfast?

Breakfast is available every morning from 7.30am-10.30am. An extensive breakfast menu is available to all our guests, see sample menu here: Breakfast Menu

We have a dedicated area on the buffet with Gluten free items and we can also provide plenty of Vegan or plant based options upon request. We ask that guests relay any specific requests they may have on check in.
